Steven L. Einig, of counsel to the Firm, is also a member of Einig & Bush LLP. Mr. Einig concentrates his practice in real estate matters with a primary focus on mortgage foreclosures and residential and commercial loan workouts, as well as both residential and commercial conveyances including condominiums and cooperative units.

Over his many years of practice, Mr. Einig’s clients have included federally and state chartered savings banks and mortgage servicing companies as well as privately held banks and private lending companies.

Prior to founding Einig & Bush, LLP, Mr. Einig had his own practice for many years, before which he was assistant general counsel for several years at Rols Capital Company, a regional private lender in the New York metropolitan area.

Mr. Einig is a frequent contributor to The New York Times Q & A on real estate matters. He has lectured at continuing legal education seminars sponsored by nationally recognized title insurance companies on the subjects of mortgages and mortgage foreclosures.

For many years Mr. Einig has served on the Board of Trustees of the Incorporated Village of Ocean Beach, New York where he has also very involved in the Youth Group Program.

Mr. Einig received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo and New York Law School, and a Bachelors of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of Maryland.

Mr. Einig is admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
