RICHARD R. WHITErwhite@cshzlaw.com Richard R. White, of counsel to the firm, brings over 20 years of government and compliance knowledge to the firm, with extensive experience in complex criminal litigation. For almost a decade, Mr. White has served the highest levels of governmental agencies and authorities in New York City. Most recently, Mr. White served as Deputy Commissioner for Investigation, Trials & Litigation at the New York City Department of Correction where he oversaw the internal compliance and accountability in an agency with an operating budget of over $950 million and more than 12,000 employees. Prior to that appointment, Mr. White served as Deputy Commissioner at the New York City Department of Probation where he was responsible for developing and implementing organizational procedures and controls to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations. Earlier, for over a decade, Mr. White served as a senior trial attorney for Robert Morgenthau in the Office of the Manhattan District Attorney. Mr. White received his Juris Doctor degree from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College and was an Executive Education Fellow at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Mr. White is admitted to practice law before the courts of New York, New Jersey, the District of Columbia, the United States District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and before the United States Supreme Court. |
