Marc J. Schneider, of counsel to the firm, has spent many years in the practice of real estate litigation, with an emphasis on commercial landlord-tenant litigation.

Mr. Schneider has represented many of the leading real estate and management companies in the New York metropolitan area, both at trial and in the appellate courts, concerning a wide range of real property issues. Mr. Schneider is also intimately familiar with the interplay between the United States Bankruptcy Code and the laws of the State of New York regarding possessing interests in real property. He has appeared before both the U.S. Bankruptcy Court as well as numerous New York State courts on behalf of landlords whose tenants have filed for protection under the Code. Additionally, Mr. Schneider has experience in the prosecution and defense of mortgage and lien foreclosure actions.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schneider was associated with the firm of Ellenoff Grossman, Schole & Cyruli, LLP, Tenzer Greenblatt Fallon & Kaplan and the firm of Hutton Ingram Yuzek Gainen Carroll & Bertolotti, LLP.

Mr. Schneider received his Juris Doctor degree from Boston University. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Brandeis University.

Mr. Schneider is admitted to practice law in the State of New York as well as in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
